Shelly’s entrepreneurial journey started early—at just 17 years old, she opened “Shelly’s Sandwich Patch” and went on to own and manage several restaurants. With a love for business, she eventually joined her mother at Linda’s Tax Service, continuing the family legacy while expanding services to include small business accounting, payroll, and entity setup.

Her educational background focused heavily on accounting principles, and her career path reflects both versatility and determination. Though she once considered becoming a pilot and explored architecture and drafting, she ultimately found her true passion in supporting small businesses and families through professional tax services.

Shelly holds multiple professional designations, including:

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS
  • Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant (LTC)
  • Notary Public

Current Role & Expertise

At Linda’s Tax Service, Shelly specializes in handling complicated tax returns for individuals, corporations, estates, and small businesses. She thrives on solving complex tax situations and finding the best strategies to save clients money.

Personal Life

Outside of the office, Shelly and her husband Michael enjoy working together as a team. They are proud parents of seven daughters and grandparents to seventeen grandchildren—family is at the heart of everything they do.

Their life in Clark County includes farming hay, raising Angus cattle and Dorper sheep, and managing rental properties with a focus on offering affordable housing to family, employees, and the community. Shelly also enjoys gardening, tending to chickens, and spending time on the beach whenever possible.
